The ETSEIB's historical archive began when the School was created, in 1851. The archive has experienced changes which have been more or less significant. There is a wide range of documents drawing the School history: exam certificates, Comissions' Minutes, Entrance and Exit Communiqués, competitions and oppositions, students' exams and works, personnel and student records, scientific instruments stock list, economical issue justifications, accounting books, academic year memoirs, subjects' rules and programms. Nowdays, the ETSEIB's archive forms part of the UPC. It is open to the public, free and confidential and data protection rights are guaranteed. | Rules
As a general rule, documents containing personal data which may affect the security, honor, privacy or image of the people involved may not be consulted unless:
Documents not affected by these facts, may be consulted, reproduced and spread for scientific and historical objectives if the ETSEIB's Comissió Avaluadora de l’Arxiu Històric approves it (under the ODA recommendations ). If it is not approved, the Comissió will inform the applicant. |

| Access to archive If you want access to the archive it is necessary to hand in the following documents to the SIAE:
In certain cases it can be required to submit a personal declaration form of personal commitment to maintain confidentiality. |
